Atom Club was an awesome community project to teach children the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths in a fun and engaging way. The logo had to sum up so much as the club ran a unique STEM education centre that including a planetarium, dinosaur zone, robot combat arena, Mars zone, green screen, IT suite, shop and so much more.
After a stage of computer and hand-drawn logo concepts, one was selected and then further developed.
The logo combines an ident and clever uses of fonts that are iconic to Microsoft and NASA. An atom of Lithium was chosen to represent the Lithium batteries in our mobile devices and the Lithium polymer batteries the club uses in robot combat.
